YMCA Day Care scoops 'Nursery of the Year'
The YMCA Day Nursery based at the Greets Green Children’s Centre has been awarded “Nursery of the Year” from Sandwell Early Years, the council department responsible for childcare provision across the borough.
The Virgin Media customer services team in Dudley have made a big splash by raising over £700 for the West Bromwich YMCA Foyer during a recent fundraising day organized by their Charity Champion, Lucy McGinty.
The day involved a wide range of activities including car washing,manager auction,brick-a-brack stall, and other excellent money-raising ideas.
11th June: YMCA resident Daniel Keenan and ex-resident Matthew Bell have been invited to Parliament in London for a Major YMCA event involving the third highest ranking member of the worldwide Anglican Church, Dr John Sentamu, Archbishop of York and President of the National Council of YMCAs.
