July 2010 - The houses were built just after WW1 when they were bought by Eric Stott’s father in 1919. Eric Stott MBE, one of West Bromwich YMCA's Board Members, lived there with his mother until about 1988 when he then sold them to the YM. The houses have been part of the YMCA for 22 years during which the previous CEO, Bert Caswell, lived in one of the houses for some time.
