As a Christian charitable organisation we want to support people in their life journey. The three key areas of our work signified by the triangle on our logo (mind, body, and spirit) includes the spiritual life of all people. The role of the YMCA Chaplaincy is to:

• Meet people where they are in life and who they are without judgement or presumption - be respectful.
• Give spiritual guidance in a way that allows the individual to feel affirmed - be supportive.
• Invite all to take an interest in the Christian faith and accompany them in life - be friendly.

We are Christians from a diversity of churches and traditions with a common motive; the belief that God calls us to be outward looking and caring about the needs of neighbours and friends.
