In December 2009 our new Christian Spiritual Development Worker began at West Bromwich and District YMCA. Martin Hill has over twenty years experience of the Christian life and has spent much of that time preparing for, and in, Christian service. He has a heart for bringing the joy and fulfilment of the Christian spiritual life to others. He likes people and has three that are most important in the big picture (his wife and two daughters). His goals in life are to be faithful and available.

Martin is employed to encourage all people who use our services, and are employed or volunteer in our organisation, to see the value of our Christian ethos positively. He seeks to give opportunity for the Christian spiritual journey and questions of faith. He is keen to encourage members of the Christian churches to volunteer in a Chaplaincy intended to increase people’s awareness of the benefits our faith holds for all people.
