YMCA Receives Praise for Community Work
On Thursday 16th September, Steve Clay CEO, Natalie Gilliland and Cheryl Plant attended Sandwell Employment Learning and Skills Awards, which was presented by Michael Collie from Midlands Today.
The event was to celebrate learning achievements in Sandwell and West Bromwich and District YMCA were nominated for Voluntary Community Organisation of the Year award by West Midlands Partnership - which we won!.
The award recognises our commitment to employing local people and providing training and learning opportunities to the community to develop their skills.
Steve Clay said, "Well done to all of our staff who have contributed to the YMCA being recognised for it’s excellence!"
