Residents show off their musical SkillZ
On Wednesday 23rd March, some of the residents got involved in a Music Production Workshop. This is the second one which has been held recently and provides a chance for residents to write lyrics to go over a beat.
They get the opportunity to express themselves in a way many of them really enjoy and it is one way which gives them the space to show how they are really feeling. For some of the residents it was a new experience, and they learnt some new skills, but for most of them they had done something like it before.
The first workshop which was held a few months ago came out with a track titled, ‘Tryin’ to make the change.’ Residents from Wolverhampton YMCA also joined us for that workshop. The second workshop was rather different… you may recognise some of the track!
