New Therapies Available

We have been fortunate for the past few years to be able to offer massage therapy at the YMCA at a subsidised rate, due to funding from the Big Lottery and Sandwell PCT.

Unfortunately, we no longer have this funding in place to offer therapies at this price. In order to continue this service, a revision in the pricing of these services has taken place which are as follows:

Indian Head Massage                                                             £15.00

Acupressure points around the upper back, shoulders, arm, neck and head are used to help relieve tension and support relaxation. This can be performed with or without the use of oils, and in a seated position.

Session time: 45 minutes

Therapeutic Massage (Swedish Massage)                           £15.00

Using carrier oils to nourish the skin, massage can help to relax and revitalise the body using traditional massage techniques.

Session time : 45 minutes

Reflexology                                                                            £20.00

A therapy working on specific energy zones within the feet to support wellbeing and relaxation. Treatment includes foot massage.

Session time: 1 hour  

Aromatherapy Massage                                                        £20.00

Using essential oils (e.g lavender, frankincense) together with carrier oils (e.g almond, grape seed) to provide massage for relaxation.

Session time: 1 hour

There is a choice of:

Back, head, neck and shoulder massage

Leg and foot massage

Face, hand and arm massage

We also hope to offer Baby massage and relaxation classes, information on these classes will be available in due corse.
